What we collect and why

When you visit the website

This website is a set of static pages delivered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) through its CloudFront content delivery network. As with any website, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested so the page can be delivered to you. We have not switched on access logging for this website, so we do not keep records of individual visits. AWS may process this information briefly to deliver the site and to protect its network from abuse.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in running a secure website and delivering it to you.

The website’s fonts and images are served from our own site, so visiting it doesn’t send your information to font or image providers.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. We use it to answer you and deal with your request. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries or, where your message is about a purchase, taking steps under our contract with you. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and for up to two years afterwards, unless a longer period is needed for legal or accounting reasons.

Analytics and advertising

We don’t use any analytics on this website at the moment. If we add privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics in future we will update this notice first.

We plan to show advertising on this website in future to help keep our games free. Before any ads appear we will update this notice and our cookie notice, and we will ask for your consent with a consent banner before any advertising cookies or similar technologies are used. You will be able to refuse, and to change your mind at any time.

Who we share data with

We use AWS to host this website and a business email provider to receive and send email. They act as our processors and may only use the data to provide their services to us. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK’s adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability in some circumstances. To make a request, email hello@tasticgames.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Children

This website is general information about our games and doesn’t collect personal data from visitors. If you are under 13 and want to contact us, please ask a parent or guardian to email us for you.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when how we handle data changes — for example before we add ads — and change the “last updated” date at the top.
